Walberswick
Just across the River Blyth is Walberswick, walkable from Southwold and a perfect stop for crabbing on the bridge. Pick up your crabbing equipment, a morning coffee, hearty lunch at the The Bell Inn or The Anchor and finish the day with a walk along the beach or through the beautiful village.
Southwold
Visit the pier, sandy beaches and nostaligic bright beach huts along the promenade. Stop off for freshly caught fish and chips and a delicious ice cream to finish. Enjoy the many walks around Southwold and the local treats on offer. Further down the road there is the famous Maize Maze, a great day out for the family.
Minsmere
Get closer to nature at RSPB Minsmere with miles of countryside walks through the peaceful coastal and wetland scenery. Combine learning with fun whilst discovering more about the local wildlife. Each season brings its own delights, all the more reason for plenty of visits to Suffolk.
